Lors d'une entrevue avec un podcast K100, il a précisé que son offre faisait suite à son licenciement et a exprimé sa déception lorsqu'elle a été rejetée. In a K100 podcast interview, he clarified that his bid followed his dismissal and expressed disappointment when it was rejected. D'Amore a depuis cofondé Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, en vue de créer des possibilités pour les lutteurs canadiens. D'Amore has since co-founded Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, aiming to create opportunities for Canadian wrestlers.
